As a  chilly winter with its cold winds make us long for warm summer days, we eagerly look forward to heralding spring with our annual celebration held  in Magoebaskloof /Haenertsburg, the fabled Land of the Silver Mist. This year we will be celebrating the 28th year  of this exciting event and we plan to make it even bigger and better than previous years.

Cheerio Gardens and Sequoia Gardens will be at their most beautiful as the flowering cheery and crabapple  trees burst into bloom and azaleas create a riot of colour. Plans include two wonderful craft markets with their interesting goodies and fascinating demonstrations and the very popular orchid exhibition with beautiful and rare orchids, cymbidiums and bonsai. The annual logging competition will provide great entertainment for all. The restaurants, pubs and hotels will be preparing delicious food, and live entertainment. Our famous Marimba players will enchant with their great music and enthusiastic antics. There will be wine tastings and a cookery competition for the brave would-be chefs. And the area will come alive for the enjoyment of our visitors.

Events may change as we get closer to September, so for updated information or any queries,  please do not hesitate to contact us:-
